Faster In‑Store Cashback Sign‑Up

Getting Instant Cashback in-store just got a whole lot simpler.

We’ve redesigned the CleverShop journey to reduce bounce, improve engagement, and make the value of cashback feel instant, because if your customers have to think too hard, they’ll walk.

What’s new:

  1. QR codes generated from CleverShop now deeplink directly into the cashback experience after app install. No login, no account creation needed.
  2. Static screens are gone and are replaced with clear, friendly animations that show exactly how Cashback works.
  3. Entire journey: just 6 taps from scan to reward
  4. Coming soon: Instant card linking with NFC and OCR that allow the user to skip the typing and get straight to earning

Whether it’s a new shopper or a returning one, the sign-up now feels more like a feature and less like a barrier.

Less “where am I?” and More “wow, that was easy.”

Milestone Rewards

Milestone Rewards have always been about recognising the right moments. Now, we’ve made those moments even more seamless and more satisfying.

We’ve enhanced the experience to ensure users receive their rewards at exactly the right time, with less effort and more emotional payoff.

What’s new:

Cash or Clever Coin rewards now auto-claim as soon as users hit the milestone. No manual steps needed

We’re officially retiring the old generation of QR codes and deep links. If you’re using anything made before 30 June, it may no longer support the updated experience and could lead users to dead ends.

What to do:

  1. Uninstall any test versions of the app (they conflict with the new navigation flow)
  2. Replace pre-June 30 QR codes and links across all physical and digital touchpoints
  3. Contact Customer Success for new in-store collateral with your updated QR code
